HISTORY
The Center of Social Aid (“Confidence”) was founded in February of 1992 as a structural branch of The Social Aid Foundation “Petrogradets” and after the reorganization of The Social AidFoundation, as a branch of The International Contacts Developing Association “Serdtse Goroda” (meaning “The Heart of the City”). In May of 1998 The Center “Confidence” associated on non-profit terms different organizations supplying social services such as help to disabled children, support to large families and single-parent families, care for people who survived theblockade and war veterans and started its independent activity.
Such integration has given better scope for providing certain help more effectively, considering mutual interests, necessities and possibilities, pooling potential and human resources for realization of the social programs focused on different age and social groups of people.
